Data Architect (MDM, OLAP, Integration, Business Intelligence BI, data warehouse, logical & physical data modelling, ETL) is required by my market leading financial services client.

They require an experienced Data Architect to help define a data reference architecture and advise on the best roadmap to deliver it. The individual will need to have at least 3-5 years experience in managing and delivering data reference architectures.

The Data Architect will report to the Head of IT Architecture and will advise on aspects of data integration, data governance and master data management. The Data Architect will also be part of the TDA (Technical Design Authority) team and will be expected to contribute in matters that relates to data integration for projects. He/she will be required to review the effectiveness of existing data integration solutions and recommend improvements (e.g. governance, integrity, simplifying, usability etc.)

The Data Architect will need to have extensive experience in data integration, EAI, business intelligence, data warehousing, and logical/physical data modelling. Experience with ETL design and development, cleansing strategies, data structures, data quality, OLAP solutions and implementation, semantic layer design and report creation will also be required.

Essential skills:

* ETL, OLAP and BI tools
* Experience in delpoying and maintaining formal Data Quality, Data Governance, Data security and Master
* Data Management (MDM) tools
* Exeprience with Data methodologies and technologies
